The diluvians are fond of birds, wearing helms and cloaks mimicking avian qualities. As shapeshifters, one moment they can be perceived in human form, albeit masked, and in another, they are simply shadowy forms perhaps flying away in the silhouette of a raptor. Diluvians in the finest and most technical sense have no physical forms, thus they take on appearances melding human and beast alike. They also cast no shadows, although they are adept at creating the illusion of shadows upon themselves by conscious attention.
The diluvians (tentatively named that way so far - the name is likely to change in the future) are my own 'species' or group of beings in development. They are originally inspired by Aristophanes concept of the creation of this world by birds in his work and they are the opposing faction to another 'species' in my fictional world known. Their conflict will cause great turmoil for the third group swept up in the 'crossfire' - humans. And Abaeran is key.
In other words, things are starting to fit together in my writings and drawings. I'm starting to find details that link events and it makes me extraordinarily excited and I would be posting like crazy /if/ I had the time.
