--An oneiromancer and necromancer--
Sorcery through Dream and Sorcery through Death.

Many people approached me, wondering if the near left one is good and the far right one is evil. I laughed and said, both are equally dangerous... Sleep and Death. The difference being? Just another form. ^.=.^

They are an interesting duo; unconventional but oddly fitting. The tattoo script on the left one's face is my own alphabet that I have fun writing stuff in.

Wow. They almost meld without a single blurred edge. It's difficult to be sure due to the unfamiliar script, but I think the line of the tattoo needs to curve more to follow the contours of the face, it currently looks a bit flat.

^.=.^ Many thanks. Yes, it's cliche to say so...but it's practice. I have developed my technique by drawing and redrawing basic views (like you see in my older drawings) until I accidentally change something. Often, this is something I like (also, it is something new...), and I take it with me to my next drawing. So, structure is perhaps the hardest thing to master. Next, is shading... I have done it enough that I know exactly how much pressure and what direction I need to shade. I use a 0.5 mechanical pencil... which is a bit unusual, since it tends not to be a fast shading job. Again... it's all a work in progress. I can see drastic differences between this drawing and my drawings just a year ago. I have played around, kept up with drawing, and had fun along the way. Hope this is to some help... :P

Actually that was a lot of help.. ^^
And yeah I knew 0.5 and 0.7 mechanicals would be great for shading. Maybe coz of the fact that they "Make" u take ur time while shading and hence u would have a better control/understand of the structure that u have in hand.. :D
Nevertheless.., I have this 14 pieces Pencil Set from Faber-Castell that no matter how much I plan to practice with them.., they just stay laid down there on my desk/workshop aimlessly... >3 !! I feel just if they're keep marking me or something.. Oo" !! .. xDD

But u know what.., I'm gonna give them a try right now.. :D
Thanks for ur replay btw...
You're so nice... ^^
